Lunch will be available at $7 per person.
Camping (no hookups) is available on site. There is plenty of room for RV’s or tents.
Motels: The Western Motel in Folkston, GA (8 miles north) offers pet friendly rooms
with pet fee.
We will be running all levels simultaneously on different courses:
For puppies and adult dogs that have little or no bird exposure, we will be providing a positive and fun introduction to quail. There is no age limit (for dogs or people!) for this event. No shooting will occur at this level.
For those with dogs and owners who have limited field exposure or have never been in the field to get acquainted with field work requirements and have the opportunity to run their dogs in a mock event with live quail. Experienced handlers will guide the learning process and will determine whether or not your dog is ready to be introduced to training pistol shot. Most of all you and your dog(s) will have fun!
This is a beautiful venue with plenty of room to let your dogs work work out the kinks. We will run dogs Hunt Test style, with opportunities for “do-overs”. If you have a particular area of work you’d like to concentrate on, please let us know.
